Effectively coordinate and provide guidance to the Government regarding the implementation of policies related to population matters. Engage in evidence-based advocacy, research, capacity-building, monitoring, and evaluation in collaboration with other agencies to enhance the overall quality of life.

Mandate

 National Population Commission Secretariat NPCS – established in 1997 – is the Coordinating Authority of the National Population Policy & Programs through Advocacy and Research among others for Improved Quality of life in The Gambia.
